7. Wallet & Refund Policy
The MobiLane App offers a prepaid wallet feature for seamless charging and payments. This section explains how wallet funds and refunds are managed:
7.1 Wallet top-up
- You can add money to your MobiLane wallet using available online payment methods (UPI, debit/credit card, net-banking, etc.).
- All wallet top-ups are processed through secure, RBI-authorised payment gateways.
- Your wallet balance can only be used for charging sessions or related services offered within the MobiLane App or partner network.
7.2 Wallet usage
- When you initiate a charging session, applicable charges (energy cost, service fee, GST, etc.) are automatically deducted from your wallet balance.
- Transaction details (session ID, station ID, amount, date/time) are shown in your App under “Charging History” or “Wallet Transactions.”
7.3 Refund policy
Refunds are handled as follows:
- Failed transaction or session error: If a charging session fails due to a technical error and the amount is deducted, it is automatically refunded to your MobiLane wallet within 48–72 hours after validation.
- Double deduction: Any double payment detected by our system will be automatically reversed.
- User-initiated cancellation: If you cancel a booking before the session starts, applicable deductions (if any) will be displayed in the App before confirming cancellation.
- Wallet top-up refunds: Once money is added to the wallet, it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account or converted into cash, except in cases of technical errors or discontinuation of the service by MobiLane.
- Refund time-frame: Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment gateway and bank.
- Customer support: For refund issues, please email info@mobilane.in or call our helpline with your transaction ID, amount, and timestamp.
7.4 Wallet data protection
- Wallet data (balance, transactions, linked payment methods) is encrypted and stored securely.
- MobiLane does not store complete card or UPI details; these are handled by certified payment gateways in compliance with RBI guidelines.
8. Cookies & tracking
Our Website and App use cookies and tracking technologies to personalise your experience and analyse service performance. You can disable cookies in your device settings.
9. App-specific practices
- The App uses your location (with permission) to show nearby chargers and manage sessions.
- Data like session logs, wallet transactions, and energy usage are stored securely for audit and service purposes.
- Permissions can be managed in your device settings; disabling them may affect functionality.
10. Security
We use secure servers, encryption, and limited access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure. Users are advised to safeguard login credentials.
11. Third-party links & integrations
Our Website and App may contain third-party links (e.g., Google Maps, payment gateways). Their privacy policies apply when you use those services.
12. International data transfers
If we transfer or store data outside India, we ensure it receives an equivalent level of protection under applicable laws.
13. Children’s privacy
Our services are not designed for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
14. Updates to this policy
